Phanivong Comments on California’s Energy Challenges

EcoBlock postdoctoral scholar Dr. Phillippe Phanivong spoke to Newsweek about the barriers posed by “aging infrastructure, rising new demand, and climate change-fueled natural disasters.” He noted how natural disasters “have gotten worse” over the years, adding strain to the state’s aging electric grid and complicating efforts to reduce carbon emissions.
