Shape the Future of Building Science! Apply for DOE’s JUMP into STEM Student Competition

Calling all college students: Turn this semester into an opportunity to explore building science and compete in JUMP into STEM!

JUMP into STEM challenges the next generation of building scientists to help solve the industry’s most pressing issues and is open to U.S. undergraduate and graduate students across a variety of majors.

The 2023-2024 challenge topics are:

Finalists will present solutions at the final competition at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) in January 2024 and compete for a paid, 10-week summer internship at ORNL, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), or the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL).

This year’s JUMP into STEM challenge closes on November 10, 2023, and the final competition will be held on January 25-26, 2024, at ORNL.
