How NEM 3.0 Could Change California’s Clean Energy Landscape

PV Magazine: California’s new Net Energy Metering (NEM) 3.0 program takes effect on April 15, 2023. For customers who don’t qualify, or don’t get an application submitted in time, developers need to be ready to implement more solar and storage projects down the line. With the decreased value of solar coming under the program, implementing storage to offset lost value will be a natural next step.
