Is Local Energy the Key to Energy Equity?

EcoBlock Project Advisor Michael Ginsberg participated in a panel at the 2022 Microgrid Knowledge Conference held June 1-2, 2022. Titled “Is Local Energy the Key to Energy Equity?” the panel discussed the role of microgrids in enhancing energy equity and affordability. Alongside other participants’ case studies, Michael showcased how the Oakland EcoBlock combines deep efficiency and solar microgrid technology to enhance energy resilience and affordability in a low- and moderate-income neighborhood.
