2022 Behavior, Energy, and Climate Change (BECC) Conference: Call for Abstracts Extended to April 15

Abstract submissions for the 2022 Behavior, Energy, and Climate Change (BECC) Conference are now open through April 15!

Abstract submission guidelines are as follows:

  • Deadline (extended): April 15, 2022
  • Length: 300 words
  • Format options: Individual presentation (poster or oral) or panel/symposium
  • Review: Abstracts will be reviewed by a panel of experts. Authors will be notified of acceptance in early summer 2022. Priority will be given to new work with original findings and work related to the conference theme.

BECC is the premier conference focused on understanding human behavior and decision-making to accelerate the transition to a low-carbon future. Since 2007, BECC has fostered understanding of individual and organizational behavior and decision-making related to energy usage, greenhouse gas emissions, climate change, and sustainability.

BECC participants and presenters represent a variety of backgrounds and communities: research, academia, business, utilities, government, and the nonprofit sector. Whatever your background, BECC is excited to invite you to join the conversation and present your original work.

And don’t forget to mark your calendars—BECC 2022 will be an in-person conference in Washington D.C. but will continue to offer a virtual component and free monthly webinars as well.
