California Regulators Delay Vote on NEM Proposal ‘Until Further Notice’

Utility Dive: On February 7, 2022, the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) decided to postpone its decision on a proposed Net Energy Metering (NEM) Tariff indefinitely.

According to an email issued by Administrative Law Judge Kelly Hymes last week, the CPUC will not schedule a vote on the proposal “until further notice.” CPUC president Alice Reynolds has requested more time to consider potential revisions to the measure.
