A Political Analysis of Microgrids & California’s Over-the-Fence Rule

The environment for microgrids in California seems to change almost every day, with complex political and policy processes governing these technologies. In light of recent developments in California’s energy landscape, the Sustainable Systems Research Foundation (SSRF) in Santa Cruz, CA recently commissioned “A Political Analysis of Microgrids & California’s Over-the-Fence Rule” to illustrate and illuminate how the action takes place through the State’s political system.
