The environment for microgrids in California is changing rapidly, with complex political and policy processes governing these technologies. In light of recent developments in California’s energy landscape, the Sustainable Systems Research Foundation (SSRF) in Santa Cruz, CA commissioned a new policy paper, titled “A Political Analysis of Microgrids & California’s Over-the-Fence Rule.”
