On June 10, 2026, members of the EcoBlock team presented the project as part of a poster session for the 2026 CEC/EPRI Electrification Summit in Sacramento, CA.
The EcoBlock pilot leverages the economies of scale associated with aggregated retrofits to transform a neighborhood block in Oakland with energy and water efficiency, electrification, and shared ownership of rooftop solar. The team is currently wrapping up construction and plans to share key lessons through an EcoBlock Guidebook.
